WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO MY YOGA CLASS?

For your yoga class with us, the essentials are quite simple. Please bring a yoga mat for your practice, along with an open mind, a loving heart, and a willingness to be curious and explore. These intangible elements are as important as your mat, helping you to fully embrace and experience the benefits of yoga. Together, they create the perfect foundation for a fulfilling and enriching yoga journey.

How is Thai massage different from other more traditional massage techniques?

HOW IS THAI MASSAGE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER MORE TRADITIONAL MASSAGE TECHNIQUES?

Thai massage offers a unique experience compared to more traditional massages you might be familiar with. One of the key differences is that it is performed fully clothed. We recommend wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothes to allow for ease of movement and flexibility. Unlike traditional massages that typically use massage tables, Thai massage is conducted on the ground on a mat, often accompanied by supportive cushions to ensure your comfort. This setup allows for a range of movements, including gentle stretching and pressing, which are integral parts of the Thai massage technique. The focus is on stimulating energy lines, improving flexibility, and creating a holistic balance within the body. It's a more active form of massage that engages both the practitioner and the client in a series of movements, offering a deeply therapeutic and rejuvenating experience.

How is prenatal Thai massage performed, and what positions are used?

How is prenatal Thai massage performed, and what positions are used?

Prenatal Thai massage is carefully tailored to the unique needs of expectant mothers. To ensure the utmost comfort and safety for both mother and baby, we do not use the traditional stomach-lying position. Instead, the massage is performed with the mother in an inclined or side-lying position. These positions provide support and ease, allowing for gentle massage and stretching without any pressure on the abdomen. Our approach is mindful and attentive, focusing on the areas that commonly experience discomfort during pregnancy. Every session is conducted with the highest regard for the well-being of mother and baby, making it a nurturing and relaxing experience.

How long do your yoga and Thai massage sessions last?

How long do your yoga and Thai massage sessions last?

Our yoga classes are carefully structured to last one hour, ensuring a well-rounded practice. For Thai massage sessions, while you have the option to choose between 60, 90 and 120 minutes, I highly recommend at least the 90-minute session. The extended time allows for a more comprehensive experience, enabling us to explore a wider range of techniques and movements. This duration is especially beneficial as it provides ample time to address specific areas of tension and ensures a deeply relaxing and holistic treatment. It's an investment in your well-being, offering the best opportunity for you to experience the full benefits of Thai massage.
